What is TMF?
TMF is an outdoor fitness company that delivers full body workouts, helping people reach their fitness goals. We will help you lose weight, build strength, build muscle, gain more endurance and above all else, become a happier, more confident and better performing individual.
Where is TMF based?
TMF currently has two locations: Clapham Common and Tooting Common. Please click on the Locations tab to view the exact meet-up points.
What separates TMF from other fitness companies?
We pride ourselves on having a massive social element and a strong sense of community. We welcome all walks of life and encourage our members to develop friendships, relationships and build camaraderie throughout the classes. Several of our instructors are ex-military, which further strengthens the sense of belonging during our classes.
What is the TMF Bootcamp class?
TMF Bootcamp is a full body workout that is bodyweight only, focusing on calisthenic strength, speed, power, core and both anaerobic and aerobic endurance. Exercises are done individually, in pairs and in small groups.
What is the TMF Strength and Conditioning class?
TMF Strength and Conditioning is a class that uses weights and other forms of resistance to build strength, explosiveness, prevent long-term injury and also develop aesthetics through muscular hypertrophy. Exercises are done individually and in pairs.
What do I need to do in order to prepare for a class?
You need to book your place in advance via the Tom Mannings Fitness App (please note that if you can no longer attend the class, you will need to cancel your booking prior to the class starting to prevent somebody else losing an available spot).
Once your class has been booked, it is important that you arrive early to every class (we recommend arriving at least ten minutes early). If you arrive after the start time of the class, you will not be permitted to attend.
Please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and shoes for an outdoor fitness class. In the wintertime, we do recommend waterproof gloves.
How busy are the classes?
The classes are capped to 20 attendees per instructor. If there are more than 20 attendees, there will be two instructors, and the group will be divided into two separate groups.
Do you cater for all abilities?
Yes, almost. We require a basic base level of fitness which 99% of first-time attendees have, even if they aren’t yet aware of it themselves. However, if you do have a long-term injury that can flare up from exercise or if you have never, ever trained before, we do recommend email info@tommanningsfitness first, just to be sure before attending your first class.
How much does TMF cost?
We have a range of pricing options, from monthly memberships, annual memberships, a lifetime membership and also packs of classes. We have a membership option to suit anybody, from those who wish to attend on an ad-hoc basis to those who wish to have an unlimited membership. Please visit our Membership page for more information.
Does TMF offer discounts?
Yes, we do offer discounts to key workers and students for their monthly unlimited memberships.
Does TMF also offer Personal Training, or just group classes?
TMF does indeed have instructors with a wealth of experience who offer one-to-one coaching. Please visit our Personal Trainers page for more information.
